Monthly Usage Rates

To Boone County Water District Customers

Effective December 1, 2016, water rates for Boone County Water District customers will increase by seventeen cents ($.17) per 1,000 gallons. The water rates for the monthly minimum bill of 3,000 gallons will now be $17.19 and is a 3.1% increase in your water rate. The reason for this change is that our supplier has been required to increase its rates due to increased costs and increasing governmental requirements to assure water quality. Our supplier increased our rates January 1, 2016; Boone County Water District decided to absorb the rate increase until December in an attempt to lesson the impact to our customers. The new rate will be reflected in the water bill for January, which will be received on or about January 31, 2017.
